COSRX - The Retinol 0.5 Oil 20ml

Highly concentrated 0.5% pure retinol

No purified water or retinol derivatives. Formulated using 0.5% stabilized, pure retinol for powerful anti-aging care. Best for skin accustomed to retinol but still experiencing progressive signs of aging such as loss of elasticity and dryness. For intermediate-level retinol users looking for a highly concentrated, youth booster.

Caution

START SMALL AND SLOW! Retinol is a high strength ingredient. Your skin needs to adapt to avoid any irritation and peeling.

Avoid using AHA/BHA/PHA and other strong exfoliants and Vita C & E products and always follow with sunscreen throughout the day.

At night - After cleanser and toner, pat a small amount using your ring finger. Apply evenly over the face, neck, and onto parts with wrinkle concerns.

Limit initial use to three times per week; gradually increase frequency to every other night, use as tolerated.

Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush with water.

We always recommend introducing one new product at a time into your skincare routine. Always do a patch test before applying to full face.

Instructions

~ WEEK 1-2  ~

Frequency: Use every second day, at night

How to use: After cleansing, at the moisturizer step, apply a small amount to areas of concern. e.g. under eyes, mouth, forehead and neck  

(Recommended amount : 0.1ml per section / 1 grain of rice) 

~ WEEK 3 ~  

Frequency: May apply daily, at night

How to use: After cleansing, at the moisturizer step, may spread over the entire face.

* The "building tolerance" phase can be shortened or extended depending on individual differences. 
* Maintain this phase until no discomfort is experienced. 
* Gradually increase frequency and areas of application.
